This Privacy Policy explains how TDDC - The Digital Distribution Company INC. (“TDDC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit www.tryremifemin.com (the “Site”) or purchase Remifemin® products. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers and contact information: name, shipping and billing address, email address, and phone number.
- Commercial information: products purchased, order history, and transaction details.
- Payment information: processed by our payment providers; full card details are not stored by us.
- Internet and device activity: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and referring URLs, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Marketing and communications data: your email and engagement data if you subscribe to our emails or interact with our ads.
2. Sensitive Personal Information
Some information we collect may be considered “sensitive personal information” under California and other U.S. state privacy laws. Because Remifemin® is a menopause dietary supplement, your purchase or related communications may reveal information about your health or life stage. We use this information only for the purposes for which you provide it — namely, to process and fulfill your order, provide customer service, and respond to your inquiries. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not use it for purposes other than those permitted by law.
California residents have the right to limit our use of their sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the goods and services you request. See “Your California Privacy Rights” below and our “Your Privacy Choices” page.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to: process and fulfill orders; provide customer service; handle returns and refunds; send transactional messages; send marketing communications (where permitted, with the ability to opt out); operate, improve, and secure the Site; measure and improve our advertising; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the cookie-preferences tool on the Site. Some features may not function properly if you disable cookies.
5. Service Providers & Tools We Use
We share personal information with trusted third parties who help us run our business. These currently include:
- Shopify — e-commerce platform, checkout, and order/payment processing.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) — advertising delivery, measurement, and attribution.
- Klaviyo — email marketing and customer communications.
- Google Analytics — website analytics and usage measurement.
- Google Merchant Center — product listings and shopping ads.
These providers process personal information on our behalf or, where applicable, as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect our rights, and in connection with a business transfer.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies and pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain U.S. state laws. You can opt out — see Section 7 and our “Your Privacy Choices” page.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy. In general:
- Order and transaction records (including commercial and payment-related information) are retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, and legal obligations, typically several years after the transaction.
- Account and contact information is retained while you remain a customer or subscriber and for a reasonable period afterward.
- Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or opt out, and for a short period thereafter to honor your preferences.
- Website and advertising/analytics data is retained for a limited period consistent with our analytics and advertising tools’ settings.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know and access the personal information we collect; request correction or deletion; opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising; limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the goods and services you request; and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or to limit the use of your sensitive personal information, visit our “Your Privacy Choices” page or email info@tryremifemin.com. We also honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required. To exercise other rights, contact us at info@tryremifemin.com; we will verify your request as required by law, and you may use an authorized agent.
8. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of other U.S. states with applicable privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing of their personal information. Contact us at info@tryremifemin.com to exercise any available rights.
9. Email & Marketing Choices
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. Transactional messages related to your orders are not promotional and may still be sent.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption of payment data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
